Good news! I’ll finally be getting a car at the end of this week! This 9 month “adventure” of being without a vehicle is finally coming to a close and I will soon be feeling like a normal adult again. Thanks so much to everyone who helped out by giving me rides and donating to the “Car Fund,” every penny has been saved and is helping to make this possible. I’ll post pictures of my “new” car soon!
It’s being hailed as the new “most unintentionally hilarious instance of civic self-love” and well, wow. I agree it is hilarious (I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes when I first saw it) but I’m not convinced it was totally unintentional — there’s no way you plan to dub news anchors, cheerleaders, and construction men singing the lyrics of a cheesy 80s song and expect it come out as something serious. The fact that it’s so bad, so painfully hilarious that you can’t stop watching it, is just frosting on the cake. There are plenty of mediocre videos out there and this certainly isn’t among them. It’s so bad it’s awesome.
I'm finally getting a car so thank you all for your generosity! Every penny has been saved for this purpose and if it weren't for your generous donations I'd possibly be waiting another 9 months. Thank you!
